His performance as Dr. Loomis in the Halloween series will always be remembered in the hearts of hard core horror fans.
Donald Pleasence was an extremely talented actor, he will always be remembered by horror fans and movie fans in general.

Yeah, I shall agree. He was just AS popular, if not MORE POPULAR, than his opponent Michael Meyers. I can't think of a single horror film hero with as much popularity as Dr. Loomis, except for Ash.
