I'm in love with him all over again.
I didn't even realize he spoke FLUENT FRENCH- asdfghjkl
He was tall and gangly and nervous and smart and his sense of humor was SO DROLL. He seemed worldly and innocent at the same time. His eyes dead
He directed Psycho III and you could see all his little homages to Hitchcock all the way though. The studio wanted more violence and nudity or whatever, but all the subtle little nods and nuances are Tony's.
This guy OOZED class. He was sweet and self-deprecating and he threw tiny little amounts of shade at people like David Letterman in such a goodnatured way that they never even knew they were being teased. His smile and his laugh whether he was shy or not, he always comes across as someone who got along with everyone and everyone genuinely liked him and were attracted to him.
Anthony Perkins, you were and still are a gorgeous GOD of the screen and with your permission I am going to fangirl my a** off over you forthwith.
