What do you all think? What gets me is the witnesses describing the assailant as a white blonde man, and the accused killer being black. I've had a hard time finding anything online that goes into explicit detail about the eyewitness accounts. For example, how close were they standing, how long / good a view did they have of the murderer etc.
He was a really great actor, I just recently saw Who killed Teddy Bear, and was impressed with his acting as well as the film itself. -

IMHO ~ BS is involved somehow due to the fact that Sal & his then bf (Courtney?) had blackmailed BS out of $11k ($3k which he paid to them), that may not seem like a lot, but murders have occurred for far less.

then it worked! HAHA - just kiddin

but seriously, why would you have 'heard of it' - even though it's been out there for some time, what matters is whether or not it's true.
BS, i believe in this thread, is referring to a 1960's pretty boy bubble gum teen idol, who - though he was cute and looked good in skin tight corduroy pants (they may have been skin tight brushed velvet pants per '60's groovy), was very limited in show business possibilities and lacked any real hardcore talent(s) to carry him more than as a teen idol du jour (used to describe something that is enjoying great but probably short-lived popularity or publicity), he sang a few songs very quickly forgotten & had three very short lived tv series, first was sort of like "American Bandstand" that Sal had him cast in/hired for, it airing a couple years, second had nothing to do with Sal, it was a light weight family western also produced for just a couple years and third, again without any help from Sal, a musical sitcom that flopped quickly.
BS & Sal met in 1962 and dated until some time in 1966 - for the 1960's Sal was considered "out & proud", BS was not and would not come out, in fact he later married and had a couple sons.
Then in the very late 1960's or early 1970's, Sal's latest bf, Courtney, NOT SAL, took it upon himself to contact BS and, basically, let him know that if he didn't give he & Sal 'X' amount of dollars, he (Courtney) would "out" him, the result was BS paid some but not all the blackmail and he (Courtney) stayed quiet about the long Sal & BS affair - the #2 poster of this thread stated he believes BS killed (or had someone kill) Sal in his driveway over the "blackmail" threat that Courtney was executing, unaware Sal had nothing to do with the blackmail, it all being Courtney's idea, therefore, perhaps BS should have meant to kill Courtney, not Sal
That's very interesting. -

BS refers to Bobby Sherman. What's the big deal about writing his actual name? He's mentioned by name in the latest Mineo biography.
There's no hard evidence at all that Bobby Sherman was blackmailed by Courtney Burr, or that he had anything to do with Sal Mineo's death. It's all just bullst speculation.
