MY Top 5 performances from movies or tv are:
1.The Rocky Horror Picture Show as Dr.Frank N Furter
2.Wiseguy his story arc as Winston Newquay.
3.Tales From The Crypt as Pa Brackett,Ma Brackett and Winona Brackett. He was nominated for an Emmy for this and should have won!
4.William Shakespeare as Shakespeare
5.Criminal Minds as Billy Flynn
Top 5 Animated works Tim has done:
1.The Wild Thornberries
2.Ahhh! Real Monsters.
3.Peter Pan and the Pirates. He won an Emmy for this cartoon.
4.Ferngully as Hexxus
5.Captain Planet as Mal
I love Tim's work other than The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I don't understand why people always hate most of his work? in newer movies.
Yeah, I wish he was a more know actor in leading roles but it's to late for that now so he has to do with what he has.
I did read he turned down Priscilla Queen of the desert he was supposed to play the leading part that Terence Stamp played that would have been hilarious!
It's to bad that he didn't get the part of the Joker in Tim Burton's Batman movie also but he was second choice. I wonder if he turned it down?
I would have loved to seen him as Judge Doom in Roger Rabbit also.
I hope Tim is doing well and has a comeback of some kind -

"I don't understand why people always hate most of his work? in newer movies"
don't you really understand that?
he did RHPS and Legend, he did Pennywise, and some other nice works in the 90s, not masterpieces, but still nice
and now? -

Who cares! I don't. Maybe he should just retire since he never really got any respect for anything else except The Rocky Horror Show.
I would take what I could get to if people only wanted to remember me for one movie and nothing else.
I wasn't going by just his big movie roles like The Rocky Horror show and Clue. I'm talking about other stuff. He had The Wildthornberries from 1998-2004 so that counts as something newer and who cares if it's animated at least he is still working and not retired yet at his age. -

"I would take what I could get to if people only wanted to remember me for one movie and nothing else"
what a way of thinking! so people will go on more and more regretting the past glory, even with more reason! this is a self-feeding way.
I don't think TC acted this way, I think he got what he could because he wasn't offered anything better.
I seem I read he stated he does so many voice-overs in order to pay for his expensive garden, not (only) really an artistic reason, if it's true.
he should have done more "serious" movies in my opinion: action, drama, sci-fi/fantasy and less comedies/voice-overs, but maybe he wasn't offered that, because he was associated only with over-the-top villain characters.
I like him when I see him, but his career is really declining, in the last (not so last, actually) years. -

I'm not going to start any arguments with anyone on here. I just wanted to start a nice topic on Tim's message board. But of course I came to imdb.com to do it which can be a mad house I've read.
I do agree he should have done more serious roles etc but he was probably not offered them.
About his career declining he is over 60 years old! He is not young anymore. So he is probably not going to get anything much better than what he always gets.
I'm done posting on imdb.com but not because of you. -

As you prefer, but remember this is a public space, not a private one, and it's not only for fans, there are TC fan sites for that.
Anyway I think that discussing and exchanging ideas to each-other is better than just adoring, but anybody does what's the best for them, of course
About the fact he can't get better roles right now he's older, maybe it's true, sorry for him, then.
You posted on imdb not for me I know and I really hope so, actually.
Hope for you.
Be fine
