I haven't seen any of these movies. Are any of them worth watching? -

Huge Cronenberg fan here. Only seen two of those and rate Cosmopolis 5/10 and CotF 6/10. He hasn’t fallen as far as Shyamalan in my eyes, but not sure if I’ll see the other two.
[edit] I should add I rate harsh, so did not dislike either, and liked CotF overall.
It wants no straps. -

Crimes was the only one of recent that truly echoed his philosophical body horror and other scifi storytelling but his son is definitely going into those elements as well as cyberpunk, sexuality exploration and other mad scientist tales.

I consider Method his worst film. Yes, I find even Fast Company more gratifying.
I like Cosmopolis, but it is very cold and I get why people hate it.
Crimes- I like. Not his best, um… too lazy to say more
Maps to the Stars! Not my favorite Cronenberg film, but I'm surprised this wasn't a hit. There's this pretentious theme wherein different people recite the same poem, but really- I would think both DC fans and the average filmgoer would have enjoyed this one. Maps is underrated. -

I've greatly enjoyed them, but The Shrouds I found to be his best work in a long time. Like The Brood, it's easily one of his most personal films, and the themes of grief, paranoia, political espionage, and the weaponization of technology are very relevant in today's climate.
So many stories, so little time.
