Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Clancy Brown

    Davey697 — 9 years ago(July 10, 2016 11:40 PM)

I have watched and own thousands of movies. Rarely has an actor/actress surprised me by actually stepping outside of their bodies and created a completely new character. Mr. Brown has usually been the bad guy in almost every show in which I've seen him and he is absolutely brilliant. Obviously a very good guy and a wonderful person, he steps into the camera and amazes us with his evil. Once in a while there is a scene which catches my full attention and mesmerizes me to the point of forgetting that I'm watching this on the screen. I can say that about maybe 2 other performers and Mr. Brown is the epitome of genius onstage. Thank you, Sir Clancy, for your perfection and grace.

In my opinion Clancy Brown is the only Lex Luthor. You watch enough of the DC, and you can identify which character voices. Mr. Brown is the ideal Lex you watch enough of the DC, and you can identify which character fits voice actor for training. Mr. Brown is the ideal Lex

For my husband and I, Clancy will forever be The Kurgan. He's been great in his other roles, but to us, he'll always be The Kurgan.

If you've seen mostly bad guys you need to see some more of his work.
See if you can find Blue Steel.
He also did an awesome job in an episode of Outer Limits.
