Met Linda Blair today in Nashville and she was genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so very sweet and approachable. We carried on a 20 minute conversation about a variety of topics and before we parted, she hugged me twice and told me it was nice to meet me. A great experience for someone who loves the Exorcist film.

I'm glad she was was cool I'm a big fan. I have one reservation should I ever meet her though, I met Eileen Dietz recently and she told a story about their feud. Someone asked Eileen to sign a DVD cover with Linda's signature already on it, which Eileen did happily, she then turned to the rest of the people waiting and advise them that if they ever intend to get Linda to sign these items then they should do so first because Linda REFUSES to sign stuff already signed by Eileen. Still with me?
She even offered should that be the case that they contact her after Linda has signed and she will sign whatever it was needed signing She was a real nice lady and I can't help but feel Linda is being quite rude in refusing to sign stuff for her FANS If Eileen sig is on it.
Can anyone confirm or deny this, has anyone ever had stuff signed by Linda AFTER Eileen Dietz has signed it.
Cheers

Thats interesting. I'd also like to know if anyone has had an experience like that. The saddest part of that is that regardless of who's doing (or not doing) what in that feud, they are still talking about it after 40 years.
Speaking of refusing to sign, she did refuse to sign a Ouija board some guy brought. That was pretty entertaining considering he was annoyingly showing everyone in line. -

Im pretty sure it was the result of several items because shortly after that, her assistant put up a sign asking pe5b4ople to refrain from requesting signatures on Bibles (all denominations), ouija boards, pictures of the crucifix scene and so on. I totally understand. Some of the items were ridiculous and others were just plain inappropriate.

I have nothing against celebrities not signing particular items if it makes them feel uncomfortable for whatever reason. I guess i answered my own question really If it's true, then Eileen's sig makes Linda uncomfortable. Although i can't help feeling it's very unfare on the fans, it's just a sig after all not a relgious symbol etc of course if it's true that is

If someone had spent the last four decades trying to discredit me and grab praise for a performance I created (as Dietz has done in regard to Linda Blair, I doubt I would want to be associated in any way with them either.
How anyone in this day and age who has watched the Owen Roizman footage can still give any credence at all to Dietz's ramblings is beyond me. -

Please elaborate. It's an interesting subject I'd like to explore. As far as I know Eileen Dietz played the demon face Pazuzu, she doubled for the vomit scene, the behind shot of Regan pushing her mums head down and a couple of other small shots. Is this disputed?
