I have watched that several times, and I laugh everytime. I love the part where he gets serious though and doesn't want the interviewer to make fun of people with speech impediments, because of his brother with Downs I'm sure. I really respect that because I have a nephew with Downs.

Is anybody else shocked w/ his looks? I expected him to look older but HE LOOKS GREAT! He doesn't see to have aged at all! I didn't recognize him at first, I miss his tan! Where the hell did it go? I hope the show wasn't spray tanning him, that would be a major disappointment for me:(

That's so typical of one of the most underused actors in Hollywood. I agree with him. I always thought Robert looked pissed off playing that stiff role. He was way more at ease in Night of the comet.

Who on earth dug out this again? That "interview", if you want to call it an interview at all, was done almost 9 (NINE!!!) years ago, shortly after the end of ST Voyager.
First of all, to me it is just a joke anyway, so I don't think you should take it serious at all.
Second: After that crap he had to do - if anything at all - during the last two or three seasons I can see his point that he hated the show.
Third: By now he has calmed down and I doubt that he would ever say such things again, not even jokingly.
A lot of time has passed since then and I don't think it is very fair to bash someone for ancient stuff. Haven't we all said things in a state of fb68rustration or rage that we don't even remember anymore? Luckily for us nobody taped them and tries to sell them as new - a decade later
That was just my five cents. -

I love Star Trek and I would give Beltran the finger if he spouted out that beep to me, in a funny way Honestly it seemed like it was all in good humour. I am not one to stick up for anything Chakotay (I h2000ate that guy) I turn the channel if one of his episodes comes on, but give the actor some credit. It all seemed to be in good fun. If you want to complain about one of the actors for beep on star trek go and sick yourself on Garrett Wang, showing up late and talking beep because they didn't reward him for that behaviour. I loved the character Harry Kim (so sweet and cute) but the actor what a waste of space.

I liked him in the movie NIGHT OF THE COMET. Other than that, he struck me as boring on STAR TREK VOYAGER. Now I understand why,he really is not faking his contempt for the show. But I'm sure he didn't find becoming a millionaire with a steady income and acting gig in Hollywood distasteful. What a moron!
