On Saturday, the Hollywood actor, 50, revealed his latest venture with the owners of United
, in a statement to Daily Mail

'I'm really looking forward to opening the first restaurant in and I hope to visit soon.'
The restaurant will have a capacity of 240 guests and will be located at the former Euro Restaurant and Coley & Punch venue in Auckland's CBD.
Wahlberg has since

The restaurant will be owned and operated by the Mustaca, who have built United into 's largest independent, -owned .
'We had been following the concept for years and with its natural ties to the entertainment industry, bringing Wah into the experience at United just seemed like a perfect fit,' Sam Mustaca CEO of United and WBIP said.
'The first Wahl will be in Auckland's CBD, and we plan to expand in other locations.
'With really great food,
and a fun atmosphere, we think it's going to be a big hit.'
The news comes just five months after Mark opened his first Sydney restaurant located in Sydney's Circular Quay, also run by the Mustaca.
