Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Mira Sorvino

I keep getting their names mixed up. I know they're very different people, but still. I can read the back of a movie and have no idea of which is in it. I always think it's the other and then think "Oh, I always get it wrong, so its her" and then i get it wrong. Im always second guessing myself and it sucks that I don't know which is which until I see them in the movie.
The funny thing is: If I have a pic, I can tell who it is, but not the name. Weird
But, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.
And, why are their names so much alike. A dyslexic person couldn't tell the difference. (No offense to dyslexic people!)

if you read quickly and can't recall them I see how you could get them mixed up

It's easy to tell them apart once you zero in on special clues
Mira Sorvino = a talented very attractive forty something woman with a shot at a continuing career in Hollywood.
Mena Suvari = a burnt out teeny bopper crack ho with about as much talent as Larry the Cable Guy's left testicle. Her last worthwhile project was "Day of the Dead: The Need To Feed"(2008)and I only say that in jest, what a $h1t box of a movie with a souless lead actress. I can't believe they got Vhing Rhames to star in it too. Her best chance at an acting career recovery would be if John Leslie were behind the video camera. They would still have to have someone hold up the cue card that says "OoohAhhhOhhhYesHarder Faster Deeper Don't Stop!!!" or she will screw up her lines.

I get it mixed up also.
I hate it, because it's a total let-down when you find out Mira is not in the film thank God for IMDB.

Lol, I have the same problem. Every time I read one or the other's name, I have trouble remembering what the other's name was, and it drives me crazy!

I lol'd when I read Mena Suvari's name in this board because I confused their names earlier today. They kind of sound alike to me? Almost phonetic.
