Semi-OT: Ashley Judd Was a Major Bitch to Me on Twitter

Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Mira Sorvino

The other day, I tried to (just for the hell of it) send Ashley a link to this particular blog regarding the apparent decline of the career of her
Norma Jean & Marilyn
co-star Mira Sorvino:

So when I get a response (which I was actually surprised to get one at all) she took it all personally and said that asking that sort of question (which was really just a rhetorical question) was really rude. Then she gave me this really pompous, "How ignorant are you!?" response by saying that Mira for one thing, is an abolitionist. In fairness, maybe (in checking back) I forgot to include the link, and Ashley thought that I was being dead serious or literal in my message. -

Are you beep serious!? The message that I sent to Ashley Judd had a blatantly attention grabbing rhetorical question. Had she actually bothered to read the blog instead of taking things so literally and on face value, then I wouldn't be bring this incident up in the first place!

Guess what? That older women in Holliwood not getting great roles thing is a real phenomenon. Your Tweet was right on that line of conversation, which you sent to an aging female actress. What response did you expect?

You did expect a response which is why you sent it to her. I don't believe for a second that you sent her an article that puts down her friend just to give her something to read. Or that you thought she would be glad to read it and give you a hearty thanks. You got exactly the response you wanted and are trying to portray her as being rude. You're like one of those annoying paparazzi that provoke celebrities by insulting them and then sue them for getting angry.

And what, I'm practically the only one who wonders why Mira Sorvino isn't as relevant or popular now as she was around the time she won her Oscar!? You're overreacting and being uptight just as much as Ashley Judd! If you read the something that says "What the hell happened too" at face value, then it's quite obvious that you don't have a sense of humor!

Now that I think about it, I don't know how could she resist such witty, hilarious writing. She must dead inside. Luckily, you are able to recognize that blog for the gem that it is. The rest of the world's loss.

O.K. Everyone? First, Ashley Judd has always been a bitch. Even if the article about Mira wasn't brought to her attention, she would still be a bitch(BTW she's also a corporate whore). Second, the reason for Mira Sorvino's "decline" is because her priorities have changed. She got married and has 4 kids. So, for the last ten years she's had to be more choosy in the roles she's taken on.

"First, Ashley Judd has always been a bitch"."BTW She's also a corporate whore".
So you know her personally? Or are you judging someone you do not know? I don't know you, but judging from what you've said here, I'd say you were a prick. And a corporate whore? Let me guess, she's successful and has corporate ties, so she's a corporate whore, mean while you sit in your little tiny apartment, relaxing after a day at your minimum wage job, and it pisses you off. -

Care to provide a link backing up that statement? You don't know her and neither do I. So provide some link, from a real website (and not your personal little blog that nobody cares about) showing her speaking out against free speech.I won't hold my breath.

Why don't you be resourceful and look it up yourself if you care? There's a plethora of information online for you. A video on Youtube shows her saying she'd like to sue people who make sexist and trollish comments online. If you want people to get into legal trouble over words, you don't support free speech.
