Really can't believe with all the Star Wars movies coming our way, they haven't signed on with Mcgreggor to make a Kenobi one
He was awesome as the honourable Jedi, it writes itself, even the people that hate the prequels like Ewan as obi-wan
Do you think it'll happen?? -

Five years after the fall of the Republic, Obi-Wan resides on Tatooine, watching over a growing, cheerful, young Luke. Seeing Luke grow these past years has been Obi-Wan's only comfort in life through the depression which took him not long after settling on the barren planet. Anakins betrayal struck him deep and tales of his new position in the Empire haunt his dreams. Obi-Wans faith in the light dwindles. As a consequence, his connection with the force fades and even worse, he feels the strength of the dark side swelling within.
At Luke's fifth birth year celebration, Owen tells Obi-Wan he can no longer visit Luke. Owen wants Luke far away from the Jedi and anyone associated with the fallen Republic. He can't have Luke following his fathers footsteps and he doesn't want to risk the attention of the Empire. Obi-Wan is devastated and 1c84takes to a walk in the desert, with no intention of ever returning.
Half dead, a sandstorm strikes and Obi-Wan lays down, accepting his fate. The sand quickly piles around him as the light fades from the sky, but then in the distance he hears a voice. Obi-Wan opens his eyes and sees Qui Gon Jinn approaching in the distance. He hadn't heard from Qui Gon in years, not since the end of Master Yodas force ghost training. After a long discussion, Qui Gon sends Obi-Wan on a mission to rescue one of the remaining Jedi imprisoned on a jungle planet, deep beneath the ground. Darth Vader has just learned the location of the Jedi and dispatched his own apprentice, trained in secret from the Emperor, to execute the Jedi.
Can Obi-Wan find his strength again? Can he resist the dark side growing stronger within?

He was the worst actor of them all in Phantom to Sith, worse even than Samuel L Jackson! The big name actor's needed a proper director, not Lucas, and they just turned up and hammed it up.
Hayden Christensen got stick, but was the only one trying to act with some grit.
In fact he and Yoda (it was all Yoda's fault, BTW, turning Anakin bad) were the only decent performances, and Yoda was CGI and not directed by Lucas.
McGregor's posh English accent was almost as bad as Portman's, when she was giving her political speeches, and those were just bizarre.
He was an awful parody of Kenobi and no one likes McGregor or rates him - apart from the 3 or 4 fans on this page, obviously. [clown] -

Currently Lucas film has plans for him in the main saga movies, and they will probably make him very important, so it would be unwise to reveal anything about him in his own movie until its in the main movies.
