A few years before Chrystie, there were four services on the northbound tunnel track, the M Brighton Special to Chambers St. (R32s), QT Brighton Local to Astoria (R27-30s), RR 4th Av. Local to Continental Av. (R27-30s), and TT West End Local to Chambers St. (R32s). That was a parade! I remember seeing the tripper on the tunnel track at the entrance to the station going up and down.
