What I'm saying is I don't occupy my time thinking about actors. I watch a movie and it was either good, bad or forgettable. Acting can contribute to this, but if an actor was in one amazing film and several terrible films then that doesn't take away from the fact that one of those films was amazing.
A good actor convinces you that you're watching the character, and not the actor. So, in a good movie, I'm rarely thinking about what other decisions that actor has made in life. decisions
Tom Cruise is always Tom Cruise in a movie.
Robert DeNiro is usually a character in his movies. -

Batman and Robin is **** though. It even killed the career of the innocent and talented Alicia Silverstone as well (whom I loved in Clueless).
Goddamnit, man! You done made me hurt my dick hand. (Phone Booth, 2002)
