Like every other beauty trend, they come and go.
I prefer very pale, milky skin, yet on the flip side, I'm usually attracted to dark men. Go figure.

There are some beautifully stunning pale men, such as David Bowie, Matthew McConaughey, the Hemsworth brothers, the Skarsgards, etc. They're certainly very attractive. Somehow, my eye just gets drawn to darker features most of the time (not all of the time).

Did you notice she only put natural-looking eyelashes towards the outer edges of her eyelids, and not over her entire eyelids? She cut her falsies in half and only used the outer half.
She definitely had some great habits and tricks.

the ultimate marylin monroe beauty tip: be born that way and be rich so you can lounge around all day without stress
also staying out of the sun is a solid tip. sun exposure is what causes the skin to age faster. if you must go outside, use plenty of SPF 50 or higher.

But she wasn't born that way. Norma Jean created Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn is a piece of architecture. She had a lot of plastic surgery, reshaped her hairline with electrolysis, got a nose job, chin implant, lifted weights, read a lot, spoiled herself,…. she put a lot of work into it while overcoming crippling anxiety.

is that plastic surgery? I thought the whole reason women worshipped Marilyn was that she was all natural. I figured her changing looks was from drug abuse and becoming apathetic from sleeping around too much.
the Marilyn on the left, pre-"architecture" Marilyn, is much more beautiful than that emotionless drugged up doll thing on the right
