Her 'look' would still work today

I find that a lot of actresses from years gone by who were/are considered to be beauties, pin-ups and so on are often very 'of their time' in that although they were very pretty, they have a look that was 'in' back then. I.E., they perhaps wouldn't be considered attractive in the same way now.
However, one thing that has really struck me about B.B is that she does not fall into this category at all. So many of the photo shoots she did back in the day would look incredible and sexy even today. She would easily be considered a total knock-out these days, as she was back then.

You know, you are very right about this. I don't know of any other actress or female celebrity who was able to span the 1950's to 1970's and look relevant to each decade. In fact, I reckon Bardot invented the 1970's look in the 1950's - ie the long, messy-cool hairstyle that became fashionable amongst women in the latter half of the 1960's and 1970's, a style which was being worn by Bardot in the 1950's.
Young girls today still want to look like Bardot more than any other actress since Hollywood was invented.
