I'd be shocked if there is no TCM tribute. Also, a question I have about her.
Did she really wear wigs? Someone on another site said, and I quote:
"I must admit watching that outwardly mundane black and white clip in #5 in what looks like a dreary bedsit I was captivated. Maybe I take female actresses far more seriously when they are not wearing wigs.."

TCM is really good about doing that. They just recently had a day of James Garner's movies. It takes a few days to get things togetherbut I'm sure they'll have one for Ms. Bacall. Take a look at their website and check the movie schedule. They do a good job of keeping it updated.
And I don't know these women personally, but I'm sure some of them (actresses or not) wear wigs or hair pieces for many different reasonswhether for a movie or in their personal life. Plus, we'll never know if they have thinning hair or if they want to go a different color without actually dying their hair. Dying doesn't damage half as much as bleaching does. I remember seeing an interview Grace Kelly did after her marriage. With her busy schedule, it was easy to pull her hair into a bun and put a lovely hair piece over the bun. She could look so beautiful in a short time. Of courseshe WAS beautiful!

Yes, TCM already has a "remembers" for Ms. Bacall. What a rotten couple of days!

A question about the TCM Remembers videos: what does the car driving under the rain symbolize?

I don't think it's really meant to symbolize anything, more just to set the mood and tone.

TCM announced a tribute today. The primetime schedule on September 15th will be changed to include those movies not airing on her birthday, while the birthday tribute the following the day will remain, giving her a nice 24 hours.

TCM Remembers Lauren Bacall with 24-Hour Marathon
Inevitably, Turner Classic Movies is offering up a tribute to screen icon Lauren Bacall, who passed away Tuesday at the age of 89. TCM's 24-hour marathon will air Monday, Sept. 15, beginning at 8 p.m. (ET), and will conclude Tuesday, Sept. 16, her 90th birthday. The tribute will include all four Bacall-Bogart pairings: Howard Hawks classic "To Have and Have Not" (1944), during which she fell in love with her future husband, "The Big Sleep" (1946), "Dark Passage" (1947) and "Key Largo" (1948).
TCM will open its remembrance of Bacall's life and career "Private Screenings: Lauren Bacall" (2005), a conversation with Robert Osborne, who said: "Lauren Bacall was a wonderful and generous friend of ours at TCM, and a great connection to the 'golden age of c7ecinema. Personally, I have to admit that she never failed to make my heart beat faster and my voice to stammer when we spoke. Talk about true star quality that was Bacall."
