Now a short
'analysis'
of the suggested movies:
Ranked by cTV - video in my OP:
Seabiscuit (2003)
IMDb-Rating 7.3 (Tobey Maguire & Jeff Bridges)
War Horse (2011)
IMDb-Rating 7.2 (Jeremy Irons & Emily Watson )
"Hope survives"

Lean on Pete (2017)
IMDb-Rating 7.1 (Charlie Plummer & Amy Seimetz - Steve Buscemi & Travis Fimmel
)
Secretariat (2010)
IMDb-Rating 7.2 (Diane Lane & John Malkovich)
The Mustang (2019)
IMDb-Rating 6.8 (Matthias Schoenarts & Jason Mitchell)
Hateful bunny on the shared account /.:
Ballad of Tara (1979)
IMDb-Rating 7.5 (out of competition, because horses only on the horizon)
LorqVonRay1999:
The Black Stallion (1979)
IMDb-Rating 7.4 (Kelly Reno & Mickey Rooney) Wonderful movie!
MissMargo:
The Horse Whisperer (1998)
IMDb-Rating 6.7 (Robert Redford & Kristin Scott Thomas)
NZer:
The Silver Brumby (1993)
IMDb-Rating 5.8 (Caroline Goodell & Russell Crowe)
Dr Ali Tomar - Hana-Buna Gang:
Run Wild, Run Free (1969)
IMDb-Rating 6.3 (John Mills & Gordon Jackson)
All great movies, no doubt about it!
The true horse whisperer Monty Roberts *May 14, 1935, wasn't font of many horse movies.
He particularly disliked
The Horse Whisperer
(1998) with Robert Redford.
Yah, like Miss Margo I'm a huge fan of Robert Redford but I understood the criticism of some scenes.
Btw. For riders
"Run Free"
usually means that the horse is dead.
The horse then runs happily and completely free beyond the rainbow bridge.
NZer's suggestion
The Silver Brumby (1993)
won the race for our weekend movie.
The trailer looks great, and I've already watched the others.
And I like Russell Crowe almost as much as Travis Fimmel. -

Secretariat, starring Bojack Horseman.
Added:
Or maybe Zoo.
That movie was already mentioned.
But thanks for the YT-video you posted on the shared account /. -
