Is the kingpin here the same one in Daredevil?

Meh. He was very good in Daredevil as Kingpin but really underused and should not have gone down in the first movie (albeit there seems there will be no sequels due to Elektra bombing, so maybe it was good to have closure) but that movie itself is very flawed (even the director's cut, which admittedly is much better).
in the Spider-Man cartoon on MTV though, like pretty much every villain on the show save for Silver Sable, he was poorly done though. He went down IN THE FIRST EPISODE and was not menacing but a joke with all his coffee drinking and easily wasted self.
Watch the '90s show Kingpin. True he only killed like two or three people and off-screen at that but the character was prominent and dangerous and Spider-Man didn't even know who Kingpin was or that he existed for the first two seasons, despite him being in about half of every season in a small or major role. It wasn't until Daredevil came in a two-part cameo that he even knew there was a Kingpin and they still couldn't take him down.
Despite the watered down violence, that is how you do Kingpin though.
