I just watched this movie again. It's been a long time since I saw it - and even longer since I saw the first film, about which I remember very little.
I was wondering whether Agent Kay's wrist watch featured in the first movie, and whether it had any significance beyond the fact that he hung it in the locker with the alien community? It seems as if it might from it's context in MIB II.
I was also wondering whether it is a real watch, and if so what manufacture and model?
    Thanks.

Yes it's a real watch. Designed and manufactured by Hamilton watches. Both the watches - J's and K's are Hamilton. The digital that "K" took back from the locker was marketed in a limited edition movie tie-in shortly after the film was released and can often be found cheaply through online dealers as they didn't sell too many. Shame really as it's really quite nice if youre a fan of this style of watch. It's based on the Pulsar design from the early 70s which were also manufactured by Hamilton, hard to find and expensive, though this one is updated and the readout is in Blue rather than Red Leds. See: http://watchaday.blogspot.com/2008/09/hamilton-men-in-black-ii-digital.html
I don't remember it being in the first movie; it was defiftely only released to market after the second.
The other watch (the one that "J" replaces in the locker) is the Hamilton Ventura of which there are several varieties and they all command a good price. See: http://www.righttime.com/rt/hamilton/h24411732.htm
Hope this has been some help. Regards, Doc.

That is an excellent reply - thanks for taking the time to post it.
I apologise for my very late thank-you; I had forgotten that I had posted this question and have only just seen your response.
        Cheers.
