Duane states that this has nothing to do with the DC comcis animated series we fell in love with. -

Yeah, it makes no sense. Then use different designs and all different voices. You can't have it both ways

It uses the same designs and same voices from the animated series so I think it is connected. Capizzi just punked out and said it's in a different continuity just to avoid negative backlash from DCAU fans. If you show this to anyone who has seen Superman:TAS they'd say it's connected. So if you dissinclude this from continuity you should do the same for "Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman".
