    Didn't Virgil's dad work for Wayne Enterprises , in the R&D Section. Designing and making equiptment for The Batman.

      I think you're confusing Robert with Lucius Fox. Particularly the way Fox looked in the comic book, where he was just Wayne's financial advisor. However, I don't think they ever said what Mr. Hawkins did for a living.

        Virgil's dad worked as a mentor at the Community Center, if I'm right. Either that or he was in social work. He definitely wasn't working for Bruce since they live in Dakota and not Gotham City.

          I thought the gig at the community center was a volunteer one. I would imagine him being in social work too.
