Who else thinks this movie should be released on DVD?

I think it would have already been announced for pre-orders if this were coming. Bet they're afraid it'll turn people off of the new movie (like why Disney withdrew the DVD of TRON before TRON: LEGACY came out).
MAYBE (just maybe) it'll come out in time for the new movie's DVD release, but I'd still be surprised. Your best bet is to pick up a used copy of the VHS release. -

It doesn't look like it is. Kind of surprised that they haven't even done something like a store exclusive or use Amazon's "burn-on-demand" service.

This and the sequel, Captain America II: Death Too Soon, are both being released on DVD on October 18th by Shout Factory.
