- How far apart are they age wise?
- How long has he been Superman before Kara comes into his life?
- Wouldn't Superman be stronger since he has had longer time to adapt to his powers than she has?

- Kara is about sixteen while Clark is in his early thirties.
- Probably about eight to ten years.
- I think there are a few reasons for why she might be more powerful than him. Firstly, wasn't she on a ship that was omitting rays similar to a yellow sun so she was more 'charged' when she arrived. Also, I think she was meant to be exposed to more radiation from Krypton as it exploded since she left after Clark. And Clark has spent three decades suppressing his abilities whereas she has been allowed to express them from the get-go.

I believe Superman is 36 and Kara is 17 (presuming they have not aged since the 52 saga). - How long has he been Superman before Kara comes into his life?
Well, if Superman is Superboy as a young adolesecent and Superman as a young adult, you can figure he was Superboy at age 12 or 13 and do the math. - Wouldn't Superman be stronger since he has had longer time to adapt to his powers than she has?
Didn't the comics say something like she was absorbing more sun in her ship? In the comics, I'm not even sure if this incarnation of the character is even his cousin - wasn't she from neighboring planet? Might have a different physiology then.

That's something that I have a question about. If Krypton as it was about to explode, Clark is put in a rocket at a very young age, and so it Kara, how can their ages be so far apart? Also, where was Kara before she united with Clark in this movie's story line? It seems like she just appears in an alley as if she didn't exist on earth before that moment. -

Gravity can affect time. Time moves faster when there is less gravity. So if she started to orbit a few planets, using boosters or something to get away, on her way to Earth she would age slower and get to Earth later than Clark. (I don't remember reading about this in the comics or anything, but it could be the reason.)
She was on the ship that landed in the water Batman was checking out in the beginning.
