Somebody may have already noticed, but I saw the DVD recently and in listening to the commentary came across an (unintentional?) error by Adam West. He refers to Catwomans cat in the one scene as He-Cat (perhaps like He-Man?). In listening to Julie Newmars character myself (and always double-checking by reading the captioning), I saw thats its actually Hecate, a reference to an ancient (Greek?) goddess.
Despite being a history major/buff, only reason I know this is seeing it mentioned in another movie, Jason and the Argonauts. Side Note: When I Wikied Hecate, the article didnt say about the goddess having anything to do with cats (aside from one description where there goddess may have taken the form of a polecat?)?
The only reference in JATA is Hecates statute in the film having the head(s?) of (a) cat(s) or (a) lions(s?), so theres a chance the screenwriter had seen Jason and was fan! Not sure if Adam West didnt know the name origin or if he forgot the reference in the original script (or it's pronunciation, it has been almost 50 years, no offense intended to his powers of recollection!). There were so many references/double-meanings/in-jokes in the movie (and series!), seems that something like this wouldve come up! Maybe someone could pass this information on to him, if he hasnt been informed already!
So sharp's the word and quick's the action! After all, "Surprise" is on our side! -

I think it's just his pronounciation of Hecate. I say it as Heh-Kate, Catomwan says it in the film as Heh-Catty, and I think West says it in the commentary as He-Cat.
