Nothing officially confirmed but this appears to be legit.
I gave season 2 a chance and it was okay but still f..king terrible. I want them to bring back Spectuclar or whatever it was called.

I had a feeling about this.
First the multiverse cross over (that's how the 90s show ended).
Then the episodes are being shown out of order.
Also the writing is getting more experimental which usually means they don't anticipate another season.
