Not sure if it is in the same universe or not. It seems that the creators want you to think it is, but it doesn't quite match up. I, personally view it as its own stand alone series that just so happens to have the same or similar character designs and voice actors. Until someone tells us differently anyway.

I agree with you there. Not a fan of Hulk or Avengers. Spiderman has grown on me because at times they write on two levels.

It has to be the same continuity as Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man. There are subtle references to the events of one show into the other. For example when the helicarrier became the tricarrier, the "Howling Commandos" and so on.

I think this show, Avengers and Ultimate Spiderman are supposed to take Place in the same World just like the old DC animated universe even if some stuff dont make sense.
