    In a reboot I would recommend him as the thing.
    His Hellboy portrayal was a perfect Ben Grimm; sarcastic, cynical, stogie-chomping and salty.
    Some would say he's too old to play in a heavy costume.
    But he'd be OK in a MOCAP suit.
    And CGI could make him look younger when he's Ben Grimm.

      Ron Perlman was great as Hellboy, but he is too old and too ugly to be Ben Grimm. Part of what Ben Grimm regrets losing with his transformation is his looks.
