Thats exactly what this film feels like after rewatching some clips on youtube.
I was disappointment in 2008 when I saw this film in theaters and never saw it again. Maybe I should give it another shot?

That is pretty much what it is. This whole movie pretty much reduces The Punisher from being a serious character into a childish cartoon like Batman and Robin (2008). You can't take it seriously at all. Most of the time you will either sit and laugh at it or shake your head in disappointment. The only people that like this movie so much are hardcore Punisher's who couldn't care if it is a terrible movie or not. As long as it follows the comic books for them that is all they care about. I'm glad that Marvel has distance themselves from the previous Punisher movies and are actually trying to make a faithful serious Punisher series by putting the character in Daredevil season two on Netflix. As for watching it again..only watch it if you can for free. Don't pay one cent to this movie. I think you can watch it online for free on Youtube. I saw a little bit of it a while back. lol
