Who would you cast as Ghost Rider/Johnny Blaze for a reboot?

That is exactly right.that's why you have to sink in more than a measily 50 milion dollars on a movie like this that came off a 200 million dollar budget with a great script with good actors and a director that had a clue with of course Nick Cage who is great and I might add is a big fan of the comic and the character of Ghost Rider. It's a nobrainer that if more money is put into a sequel it will be a better movie. If they do another sequel I hope Nick Cage is still Johnny Blaze. Would be great also if Eva Mendez were to come back as well.

All I could think of while watching the new Ghost Rider was Jensen Ackles. Johnny Blaze in this film reminded me a lot of Dean Winchester.

Ron Perlman should have been cast in this role. (I don't care that he played hellboy, so what?)
Cage may have the acting chops, but he is not imposing physically and I seem to remember Ghost Rider as being not quite so skinny.
I personally don't think the movies are quite as bad as everyone else seems to think. I haven't seen or read a Ghost Rider comic since I was 8 or 9, but there have been FAR, FAR worse movies than this about comic book characters. -

Ryan Kwanten is a real good choice. I agree that it should not be a huge star (sorry OP, Tom Hardy is a new it guy in Hollywood). Kwanten could do a good southern accent that Blaze, and even Danny Ketch should have. Nic Cage was such a horrible choice for the role; GR is a young man and looks
nothing
like Cage.

Nic Cage was OK. This movie could've been better and the way I wish comic book movies to be made: without continuity from the previous one. Of course, while Ghost Rider 2 changed a lot from the previous one without any good reason, it still had the same villain as the original and in a weird way was a reboot, so my wish didn't come true. They should make more stand-alone sequels for comic book heroes like most of Bonds.
