I barely consider LoT canon with the Arrowverse. Some random housewife gets supposedly killed by her husband and undoing that changes the whole world.
This season of The Flash stresses how fooling with the timeline is dangerous (and also tries to address the plothole of why Oliver didn't just ask Barry to go back in time and warn them about Diggle to save Laurel and keep Darhk locked up) with the Cisco drama.
And yet the LoT team alter this timeline constantly and nothing is made of the consequences. Mrs. Allen dies and the whole world is different. The French queen or whatever has lesbian sex with some chick, a bunch of laser gun mercenaries who up killing people in broad daylight, a guy in a super suit shooting explosions at bad guys and a man made out of radiation is flying around and then they all just laugh and stroll away a destroyed palace
And yet THAT doesn't mess up the timeline in any way? -

Yes because an event that occurred in 2000 altered the events of the 1940'sthe time quake was the nuke in New York, it cost 12,000,000 lives in the 1940's which would result in god knows how many people not being born by 2016, though Flashpoint could be the catalyst for things it was not the effect of the quake I would assume.
