I mean other than these shows being exceeding boring. I mean these shows make 12 Angry Men seem like Action Pack Thrill Ride. Daredevil especially feels like Law and Order with Masks. But not nearly as interesting as Law and Order. Anyways it feels like the last thing that want to do is embrace its comic roots. Comic books are about the fantastical, not the mundane. Hell I haven't seen Daredevil do a backflip. They even had to hide the costume for the whole first season. Let alone jump off Rooftops. Superhero are people with extraordinary abilities who wear flashy,if not ridiculous outfits. Its fantasy world the anything can happen. Its not like anything Fantastic ever happen to daredevil in the comics. Its not like he fought Man-Thing (DD #114). Or fought A villain that used laser beam as a weapon (DD #223). Not to mention Giant Robot (DD #8,#48,#275). Its not like even Mysterio showed up in DD v2 #007 that was published 1999. I mean as poorly written and ridiculous as those CW shows are. I can at least called them Superhero Shows. Not to mention as "realistic" as the Dark Knight trilogy tried to be. It still seemed to embrace its roots more than all these Netflix Show. Ill admit I was intrigued by the first episodes of the second season. Then Electra shows up and slowed the whole thing to a screeching halt. These shows seemed to be 45% story, 55% filler. The Villains are the only good thing about both seasons of daredevil. Chris Cox is boring as hell as Daredevil.

      I love shows that are
      MORE
      than just superhero shows.
What's great about these Netflix/Marvel collaborations are they remain interesting even if the superhero aspect were removed.

You say that as if 12 Angry Men isn't amazing. Some of us prefer cerebral plots and dialogue over explosions. So shows like this where the balance is tipped a little, those are very appealing to us. That's also a big part of what made Christopher Nolan's superhero movies (the first two) so great.

I tend to agree. Say what you want about the MCU movie. There closer to what a Comic Universe is suppose to be than what any of these shows are so far. Not to mention i think Daredevil is pretty poor adaptation. All i have to do is compare any season of this to Born Again or Guardian Devil or hundreds of more interesting stories. They don't even compare. I guess you could say the say the same about MCU movies. But at least those have Fun factor going for it.

So you want more robots and laser beams and less '12 Angry Men'-like stories? Daredevil IS a lawyer pal. Courtroom drama has been a big part of Daredevil since his origin. There are lots of cartoons for you out there. Most people actually want the 'boring' adult drama stuff this show does so well.

Come on, There is nothing "12 Angry Men" like about this show. For one "12 Angry Men" had a great writing, great acting and great directing. This dosn't have any of that. Yes Daredevil is a lawyer. But he can also do this.

Yeah that is called Fantasy. Something this show certainly seems to downplay. Frankly if what to read or watch something Adult that has to do with Lawyers. You be better off reading/watching a John Grisham book/movie.

                John Grisham is literary garbage.

Daredevil does in fact have all three of those things.

I prefer these "street-level" hero shows. It was the Frank Miller DAREDEVIL that gone me into comics originally. The heroes who have to save the planet every week, like the Fantastic 4, Avengers, X-Men, etc. don't interest me as much. Hard to come up with credible, interesting opponents.
