    He was shot twice with those special bullets and they removed 3 sharapnels from chest wound but what about the abdomen wound? Did I miss them being removed?

          I noticed too, bullet probably went in and out. When Luke was shot in the abdomen, you could actually see the moment that the bullet exploded, not so with the second bullet.

            It was a bad edit and something they should have fixed in post with either some added dialogue from Luke or Claire off screen referencing it at some point during the episode. Then again they forgot in that same episode that it's 2016 and to keep someone from having information you should you know smash the hard drive not the computer tower.

                I couldn't really watch the whole scene, but I think there was some editing. Such an operation would've taken a long time in reality and showing it all on screen would've been boring. I can assume all shrapnel was removed without seeing it.
