His age is showing and It's time for him to retire. Wolverine is suppose to age really slowly after all.

So let see Wolverine ages extremely slowly. So much so that 100+ yrs for him is like 10 year age for humans. Now, Logan is alive in this film but so is Professor X (who ages normally). So why then is Xavier alive in this film?

A) He is retiring; this is last film.
B) In the main comics Wolverine generally looks like a grizzled guy in is 40's. Jackman actually fits that rather well at this point.
C) This film is set a bit down the road when his age is starting to show more due to his healing no longer working quite as effectively as it used to. -
