Why are affleck and irons pretending the audiences liked it?

$900 million plus change at the box office. No movie makes that kind of money without repeat viewings. So, either a lot of people

like it, or a
lot
of people who
didn't
like it went to see it
more than once

I think you guys are all ignoring the in betweens. The fanboys will be the ones to say it was phenomenal and then you have the people that hated it, some with biases of their own, and some not.
Then you've got the people that thought it was okay-ish (6-7/10) which probably make up a large enough number of the RT fan score.
I feel if EVERYONE disliked it.. it would be another Batman & Robin scenario. I saw petitions to have Ben Affleck removed from his role before BvS came out, and didn't see any petitions after it came out.
Think of it like that.
