The actress for Misty Knight said in an interview she'd love the idea of her role being romantically linked to Iron Fist but as we can see, she ended up banging Luke cage in the story instead lol
What an actor wants and what ends up happening are two different things

well the difference between Misty and Winn is Misty is an actual
comic character with a preestablished back history to pull from in the comics, while Winn is a made up character from the show.
So her saying that was really just her hoping the writers appeal to the comic book fans who know the history of Misty and Iron Fist.
The actor saying that for Winn is really just his own personal wants and has nothing to do with what the writers or director has intented for the character.
Seeing as how he went almost insane for Kara in the first season, it'd seem out of character and forced as hell to 'make him Gay'; especially if it seems like they're doing it already for Kara's sister.
But then again, this show isnt known for consistent writing and definitely seems to be agenda pushed to a fault so who knows

Wrong. Winn is not gay and Alex is most likely Bisexual like Sara in DC's Legends of Tomorrow who will both probably end up with men at the end of the shows run 'cause God knows we can't have female characters not hooking up with males or we will have a group of grown men crying like babies. The only homosexual character in the entire Arrow universe is Curtis. Gotham doesn't count since it is not a part of the Arrow Universe. I would like to see more and if Roy is returning to Arrow like rumours say the actor shouldn't be forced to play a heterosexual character and could come back with a male love interest.
