Why is everyone talking so fast in this series?

Since season one I've noticed that everyone (well, mostly everyone) are talking very fast in this show as if their pants is on fire. Is it on purpose? Or just the way the chosen actors talk. I mean, if you put the subtitles on for this show, you wont be able to read most of them.

Hmm must be a native (American) thing, because as a foreigner when hearing non-native language I can always tell when a person is speaking slow or fast. And this series actually rivals with 'Bones', which to me is an epitome of fast-talking.

Wait. Doesn't Bones get criticized for hesitating in her speech too much?!
Everything seems pretty normal to me, but I can understand if English isn't your first language. I think this is always the case for non-native speakers. -

I wasn't talking about character Bones, I was talking in general about the show when they are talking in "quasi" forensic terms.
However, stile99 answered my question why it seems that the conversations are fast.

Many shows/channels are using 'time compression' to speed up, theoretically enough to slip in a couple more commercials without anyone noticing. However, in practice, everyone ends up noticing because it becomes really obvious.
Take a recent example (recent as in this last weekend) with Back to the Future on TBS (rather infamous for doing this, actually). This movie contains a very famous line, one which people the world over can quote (and have) precisely, including timing. "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need'roads'. The line is so famous that even how long it takes to say each word, and the spaces in between, is known. And yet when time compression is used, it comes out "Roads? Wherewe'regoingwedon'tneedroads." Not enough to give it a chipmunk effect, but the spacing and timing is all wrong.
