without spoiling myself on the plot of S2?
I hate these DC crossovers because I time shift all my shows and don't start some until months after they've completed airing. I haven't seen any of Legends of Tomorrow this season (probably saving it for summer) so I wanted to know if I could safely watch the conclusion of the Invasion crossover (which I have not yet begun) or should I just view the episode within the context of the rest of the show once I get around to it.
Any info you could provide without spoilers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I mean, nothing that spoilery happens in the LoT crossover episode except a few characters being around that weren't there for Season 1 and there are some references to events on Arrow and Flash. So you might be a bit confused but I wouldn't say it would ruin anything.
Having said that you are probably better off just watching it in order. Plus, with the winter hiatus coming up, you will have plenty of time to catch up if you have the episodes on DVR or a website that has them.

I would watch the first 2 episodes of LOT first as couple of new characters intro'd and one old one missing after episode 1. If you're ok with that then no plot spoilers. Same rule of first 2 eps of Flash too (in case you're not up to date), as then you are good to go
If you can't do something smart,do something right

I'm up to date on both Flash and Arrow, minus this week's crossover episodes. I was just wondering if I should try and finish the "event" or scrap it and watch the conclusion within the context of LoT.
