Are non-comic readers complaining about X-23 again?

I'm not complaining about X-23 taking the mantle of Wolverine, but I just refuse to BUY ANY ACTUAL COMIC BOOKS with her as Wolverine. Marvel Comics keeps replacing white male heterosexual characters, via its "Diversity Initiative".without creating ORIGINAL minority characters that people care about. So I simply do NOT reward Marvel/Disney with any MONEY, because I'm morally and ethically opposed to their SJW leftist propaganda.
I can spend my money on other things.
Heck, I won't be spending money on the Spider-Man reboot, or the Doctor Strange movie either (black Mary Jane & white female Ancient One? no, thank you), and I certainly didn't spend a dime on the last Fantastic Four abomination of a movie.
I'm just not interested in being SOCIALLY PROGRAMMED, via Disney's leftist "multicultural" versions of white heterosexual characters.
So I'll pass. -

So let me get this right You stop reading the comics when they change the main character to an original female or minority character taking on the mantle of the straight white male character because that female or minority doesn't have an original moniker? Doesn't that just tell them that people don't want books starring female or minority characters? They'll just change the character to another straight white male character. I mean, do you hate all legacy characters or just the ones that changed the race and/or gender?
Also, Marvel/Disney aren't the only ones (or even first ones) that changed a character's race/gender. Kingpin, Perry White, Jenny Olsen (that was totally suppose to be Jimmy), X3 has a lot of switches, Bane, Ra's al Ghul, Talia, Chapel, Terry Fitzgerald. And it's funny, you call out Disney as having an agenda, but name Fant4stic as one of the culprits.

Funny thing is Marvel's editor-in-chief has discussed that they do this since the original minority characters don't sell that well e.g. Black Panther. So although you are here lamenting the lack of great minority characters it seems like many people (maybe even you) aren't actually supporting minority characters.

X-23 was created from Logan's DNA. But she was never ever intended to be a replacement to Wolverine. If you've read any of her books not only is her personality polar opposite from his and she's made a concerted effort to be her own person and push herself as far from the life she was made for as far as possible. Let's face it Wolverine isn't Batman. He's team thug and heavy,that's it. That's his function, why on earth would Laura want to be him? When she can be a hero in her own right? The placing of her as taking on Wolverine's mantle is just bad and lazy writing. I dropped ANW after the first arc because, the writing was just bad and that wasn't X-23. It's generic American Teenage girl in a Bruce Willis film.

Im a comic reader, I dont like X-23 but it has nothing to do with feminism. I'm actually a feminist myself.
Not surprised. Most women/girls don't like X-23 type characters. That's why Girls and Sex and the City have had such longevity as shows.

Why would non-comic book readers complain about a character they don't know? Generally only comic book readers complain, because they always think that the characters and story-line of the comics is butchered in the movies (as if it's the first time they seeing such a thing) and are vocal about it.

Well, a funny thing is, even I when I don't read comics know that there IS spider-woman (but I think her name is different).
I don't know, for me the main criteria with these superhero movies are:- story-line;
- logic behind story-line;
- action
If these are all met for me - well, the movie is a good blockbuster.
