It really amazes me. I mean Spider-Man is just such a loser. He looks like a total dork. It amazes me how much better the DC characters are. DC movies have a lot of problems. And WB hasn't worked out all the kinks. Still I'd rather watch them than watch some Melvin in a Spider-Man leotard.

I've actually related to Spider-Man more than any other comic book character.
And I say that as a Batman fan as well.
I like that they're building the movies around his high school experiences.
It reminds me of the spectacular spider-man, which was a highly underrated show. -

I know. And I try to fight it. Well sometimes. I liked Civil War. but this trailer, with Peter and his fat friend gawking at the hot girl chick while some other girl calls them losers. It's SOOO cliche.

Completely right. Just another family friendly fun formulaic marvel movie. It's good for what the intent is. To enjoy yourself and laugh like a hyena because for some reason that's what comic movie fans are supposed to do. How adult people aren't getting sick of this soft tissue crap is really puzzling. But oh well another box office win for Marvel. Let me know when spider boy hits puberty. -

I think to call Marvel's formula "family-friendly" is a ridiculous over-simplification. It's not even a formula, it's simply another component in their demograph.
Furthermore, the poster who said "the lovable high school loser has been done to death", we're talking about a character created in the 1950's. It was a bench mark for characters like superheroes, because superheroes weren't kids, and the certainly didn't have problems back then.
Marvel is taking that character, acknowledging that's it's 2016, and giving us a fresh, modern take. -

The Winter Solider is not formulaic or family friendly and miles ahead of any of the DCEU trash. Batman v Superman was the most boring over-long film about superheroes ever made, Suicide Squad was complete garbage in almost every way, and Man of Steel is barely passable. Whoever is in charge of the DCEU has no idea what they are doing and should just stop while they can.

Batman kicked Supermans ass, I'm pretty sure he could take Spider-Man. He'd kick his ass,then he'd go to his house and have his way with Aunt May. Like a man.
