I understand why garfields performance faced criticism,some unfair, because of thisbut peter was never meant to be the sad passive emo weakling that Maguires peter often was either.
Just needed to get that thought out there real quick.

Yeah spideys annoying AF, that's one of his things, it just needs balance between that and humorously witty

I really hope we won't be getting the ''Aww shucks'' version of Peter Parker that Maguire potrayed. But I'm sure that won't be the case

I doubt we will ever see that again. Spider-man one and two are good films, but that can make them difficult to watch

I enjoy the Rami films (There are even some parts in 3 I like), but the worst thing about those was Maguire's version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Kirsten Dunts as Mary Jane was bad too). And for me when the main character is the worst thing about a movie then that's a problem.
