Tim Burton for new director

Even Tim Burton at his peak probably isn't the right director for X-Men. And Burton has made some of my all-time favorite films. He is certainly not right now. I feel he has lost his spark and now just has a very formulaic style.

Bay has said he doesn't want to do comic-book films.
If he had worked on X-Men, it may have been on an improved version of THE LAST STAND.
