I think Irons was definitely one of the better things in BvS, so I'm not too happy about his nomination. Then again I haven't seen him in Assassin's Creed. I definitely can't argue against the nominations for Eisenberg and Leto.

Didn't Margot Robbie receive a Critic's Choice award for playing Harley Quinn? Why is she on the Razzie shortlist? I don't like Harley Quinn as a character and I never did, but if people liked her in the role, why is she on here instead of Cara Delevigne?
For that matter, why are Ben Affleck and Jeremy Irons on here for their roles in BvS? Does simply being in a bad movie make you a target for a Razzie? -

i think because it's because it was a movie that people had high expectations for and it wasn't what they wanted (though 56% audience score on RT makes me wonder if it was hated that badly.. ehh maybe it was)
IMDB taught me: cynicism is praised. optimism must be stamped out wherever it can be found. -

"Does simply being in a bad movie make you a target for a Razzie?"
Pretty much. I remember Katie Holmes was nominated for worst supporting actress for both Batman Begins and Mad Money. She wasn't anything great in Batman but she certainly wasn't terrible enough to warrant a razzie nomination. -

It's pretty crazy to think that BB was actually nominated for a Razzie. I think it's the weakest of the trilogy myself, but the fact that it received a nomination that's usually reserved for the most panned films of any given year is kind of ridiculous.

I wasn't really familiar with Harley Quinn (not a comics guy since I was 10), but her character makes no sense in any level. If the idea behind the SS is to come up with a team to potentially go against a Superman-level threat, how does a crazy, hot limber chick with a baseball bat help?

people should, by now, realize how bad these movies really are.
SS is so bad, i dont believe people are defending it.
BvS TC was bad, the UC was OK, but still far away from being a good movie.
The list overall has some highly questionable nominees though.
Batflack in BvS is a joke.
Irons in BvS is a joke.
Benedict Cumberbatch in Zoolander. It was a stupid roll to begin with, why would you nominate someone for that?
Cavill in BvS well he almost had nothing to do.
Bt i have to say its tough to see them up there with these other horrible movies. -

Cumberbatch nominated for a Razzie? That's just dumb. Those folks often confuse bad movies with bad performances. I've always thought the Razzies in general are too "on the nose" to even be a funny Hollywood pisstake, and this is a prime example.
Zoolander 2 was terribly unfunny, but I thought Cumberbatch's All role was one of its few redeeming qualities.I have meddled with the primal forces of nature and I will atone.

Yeah honestly, most of the casting in the DCEU has been pretty good. Affleck, Irons, and Robbie are among the best things about the current series. Most of the problem I think has been Zack Snyder and the DCEU having no real leaders to keep things organized.
