When chloe saw Lucifer getting shot at the end of season 1 finale, she does not show any emotions and when he comes back again to live, no emotions at allJust wooden..
Another thing is when Chloe got shot at the beginning of the season 1 , Luci also got shot at the same time, and if Chloe makes him vulnerable, how did he survive. I am not checking previous IMDB board threads as I have not yet started season 2 and don't want to get spoiled.

I don't know what happened to Lauren German, but her acting has really picked up in season 2. And she looks better. There have been times when the rings round her eyes made her look like a broken hearted panda, but lately she seems to be like a fine wine; she is improving with age.

They met in the pilot. He
eventually
becomes vulnerable in her presence; when she's not around he's still okay. It's an emotional thing but neither he nor Chloe knows this. Why would he become mortal around her when they had only just met?
Are you interpreting it as "she gives off kryptonite rays that affect him"? That's not what they're doing.Because supporting your thesis is tough, but throwing adjectives is easy. -

Unless the writers change their mind, Tom Ellis originally said Lucifer's vulnerability around Chloe was not about their feelings for each other. They said it's "much bigger than that".

1 - True. She was surprised, but not sad.
BUT. She does know he was in the way of bullets twice (first episode: with Delilah, and at the end of the ep when Chloe got shot), and somehow Luci lived. Maybe deep down, unconsciously, she knew he would be fine. She does not believe he is the Devil, but
she does believe there is "something" about him, which she will say next episode for you.
2- How Chloe makes him vulnerable is still a mystery to this day. One theory is that he did something to save her life (something supernatural, not just bringing her to the hospital), and that's why now he can be wounded in her presence.
In the beginning of the first episode, the guy who shot Delilah is unconscious, and Lucifer sort of revives him, temporarily. Maybe he used a similar trick to save Chloe.
