I imagine HR will succumb to a temptation offered by Savitar through the boxed stone: Open the box and I will restore to you all that was lost and taken: Your company, your reputation, your wealth, your prestige. HR will open the box and Savitar will gut him with his spike as penance for his greed and gullibility.
This had not happened because they were evil people; it had not happened because the old gods were punishing them; it had happened because they had gotten lost in the woods, that was all, and getting lost in the woods was a thing that could happen to anybody.

HR seems to be the convenient answer for all the scenarios. I believe the betrayal will come from Caitlin, Cisco, or Wally. HR seems to be the loyal kind. He may be the one who dies. Either Barry, Iris, or Wally will be the one who suffers a fate worse than death.

I agree H.R. is the convenient answer for all the prophecies Savitar warned them about. He could easily be the one to "fall" (presumably die) or betray them since there are so many versions of Harrison Wells they can bring back next season.
And that is why it would be a puss out to make it him. I do have a feeling he will die though. And I hope he does because he is the worst Wells on the show so far.

The next likely suspect, for me, is Julian, who is tempted by resurrecting his sister.
This had not happened because they were evil people; it had not happened because the old gods were punishing them; it had happened because they had gotten lost in the woods, that was all, and getting lost in the woods was a thing that could happen to anybody.

Yeah but again, it is too predictable. Then again having Julian as Alchemy was incredibly predictable, so who knows. It probably will be H.R. or Julian that dies. I'm leaning more towards Julian dying just because he will then have a redemption arc.

I thought the use of Julian as Savitar's mouthpiece was quite clever. As Barry put it, "I don't think there is an Alchemy." That's wonderfully creepy, like the box that is really "nothing". So, the real revelation wasn't that Julian was Alchemy, but that there was no one who was secretly Alchemy; it was simply an aspect of Savitar. It took our expectations and twisted them and turned them on themselves.
This had not happened because they were evil people; it had not happened because the old gods were punishing them; it had happened because they had gotten lost in the woods, that was all, and getting lost in the woods was a thing that could happen to anybody.

I feel like HR would be the easiest choice, so it's not him IMO and we've already seen Wells' betrayals previously so why rehash that. I would say Caitlin could also be it since the news headline mentioned "Killer Frost," however that also seems kinda predictable since we already saw what she was capable of as KF and that give away the surprise.
So the least obvious choices to me would be either Cisco, Wally or maybe even Joe. Alternatively, it could even be Barry as the one who betrays them all since no one would be able to call that.
Also Savitar only said "one betrays, one falls, one suffers a fate worse than death," he never went into depth on those. There's also no evidence that any one of those predicaments become permanent for anyone, so the betrayal could be temporary and that person could very well redeem themselves. Or die and come back. Or suffer terribly only for a moment in time. Another thing, what if all of those things happen to just one person and it becomes karma for them.
