    The suit in the movies, while clearly based on The Dark Knight Returns costume, is also a massive step back. It is obvious in the Justice League trailer when Batman can't easily turn his head when talking to Cyborg.
    The one used in The Dark Knight/Rises was easily the best one. It showed practicality as well, being an actual combat suit of armor for military application and allowed more free range of motion.

        The thing is that Batman's disposition is a such that he would not want any superpowers be at chemically enhanced or mechanically just because he has the cunning and smart to outwit his opponent.

          Yeah, that doesn't quite wash when you're up against a virtual god. And the history of
          Batman
          stories says differently. Bats has used many specialized costumes and pieces of equipment.
