It wouldn't be that shocking. This show hasn't been Emmy nominated for these past seasons already because it doesn't have enough awards worthy moments. It's too campy and colorful with less subtlety and nuance to put it on the same map as Fargo and Breaking Bad. Don't get me wrong, Monaghan is a lot of fun to watch and that's what he's meant for since it's a comic book show that's taking a theatrically colorful approach to all the villains to delight us in how evil they can be. It's just not the kind of acting that attracts a serious awards poll when it relies on more colorful layers for a drama rather than subtlety and depth to explore.
