I have tickets opening night.
I'm going with my dad. We have a tradition. We've seen every Batman-related movie since 1989 at the cinema. Even Batman Returns at a drive-in, one of the last ones before they closed most of them.
I didn't think about the mass shootings.
You know how the same movie has multiple showings around the same time when it's first released? Wouldn't it be funny if I attended the 7:10 showing, and the shooting happened at the 7:25 showing? Talk about dodging a bullet…literally!
