The Rotten Tomatoes score is absurd. 94% and 99%!? That is IN-SANE. This is an ok movie at best.
"MJ" and Flash are just soooo off. The characters are so far removed from what they are, it's just wrong. Ned is pretty much the same. They are all just awkward and uncomfortable to watch and drag Holland down. A lot of the humor with these characters fell flat. It's just so awkward and unfunny at times.
Some of the humor with Maguire and Garfield was too. Some of it was funny, some of it was not and unnecessary. It was neat seeing them, but could have been more finely tuned. I again attribute that to Ned/MJ and Peter. Holland is better when not around them
Strange did a world-altering spell ENTIRELY too easy. No wonder the government enacted the Accords. There's no consequences for some of these people. He was totally willing to erase the minds of the entire population.
Dafoe was absolutely wonderful. Great seeing him back. He hams it up as Osborne very well and is truly a bastard. Both fight scenes with him were excellent. Raw, brutal, and REAL looking.
Garfield had some very touching scenes. Maguire did too, but Garfield's were very emotional. Maguire was more of the wise old leader Spiderman. I liked them together with Holland.
I was not a fan of trying to "cure" every villain. I'm not a fan of no bad people stuff.

Imagine that–most people apparently have different taste in movies than you. The mind just boggles.

Rotten Tomatoes is ****ing stupid. Nothing surprises me from them. They go the other way, too. Good films are often crap or mediocre to them.

                      I agree.
They gave Just Married (2003) a bad rating and I thought that movie was kinda cute and funny.

It's rated 9.0 on IMDb, which probably means a lot of fanboys have been raving about it. That score will come down. It received *** from RE.com.

That's just insane. This movie is not a 9/10. It's not a "great" movie, the "best MCU movie ever", or even the "best Spiderman movie ever". Audiences are flipping their lids over it. Its just because of the cameos.

I thought it ran too long.
Regarding Ned and MJ, they are intentionally different from the comics and film. They already did a red headed MJ and a blond Gwen Stacy so I think they wanted to shake things up a bit. I honestly think it makes the characters more accessible to a wider audience and I have no desire to see another Kirsten Dunst type love interest. They do stray quite a bit with the newest Spider-Man but nobody wants to see the same thing over and over. Garfield’s was closest to the comics in my opinion.

Whatever you say. It's too wholesome for me. I think teens and young adults have passed the point of believing in Spider-Man. The youth now are into themselves. They don't concern themselves with wholesome justice and blah blah.

I haven't seen it yet, but I did watch some of the other Spider-Man movies that had Tom Holland in them and I didn't really care for his Spider-Man or those movie. Those movies were kind of absurd. They were trying something new with Spider-Man. I knew a black guy I worked with that told me Tom Holland's Spider-Man is more faithful to the comic book Spider-Man. I preferred Toby and Andrew more though.
They're just making way too many of these movies if you ask me.
