    I know they probably wrote the characters off of the comics but I went from hating Max because he killed the babies to finding him funny. There are parts in the movie where you laugh cause he seems a little mentally challenged. I.E the "nod" scene. I was laughing. The "go fish" scene and the scene where he calls the man short and asks him if he's standing in a hole lol. I don't know if they were trying to make Max funny but they did.

      I love bad guys that don't take themselves very seriously IN MOVIES!!!

      this would not be funny.

        Yes, I liked Jason Patric's kind of light-hearted approach to a cold -hearted super villain; reminded me of Lex Luthor doing stand-up.

          I love casually ruthless Max was in this film. I busted a gut when he killed the umbrella lady.
